Meet The Team

Jacob Smith, Director and Producer - is a filmmaker, a non-profit founder, a former mayor, and a former U.S. Senate staffer, and he’s currently the programs director with a Colorado-based sustainability-oriented nonprofit and a principal with Purple Frog Productions. He has been the assistant director on a host of short films produced in the Washington, D.C. area, his short film “Chasing Rabbits” (with filmmaker Julia Myers) is in post-production, and his documentary “48 Hours in Baltimore” (with filmmaker Kate Williams) is in festival submission.

Kathryn Goldman, Producer - is a project manager, fundraiser, 15-year veteran of advocacy and political campaigns, principal and founder of Wood River Consulting LLC, and a principal with Purple Frog Productions.

Jon Erickson Producer - is a Professor at the University of Vermont, a Fellow at the Gund Institute for Ecological Economics, a principal with Purple Frog Productions, and an award winning producer of documentary films about economic transitions with Bright Blue EcoMedia. Since 2011, his work with Victor Gaudagno and Brad Johanson has garnered four New England Emmy nominations, two wins (!), and five films currently in national PBS distribution.

Victor Guadagno and Brad Johanson (Field Producers/Post-Production) are both longtime, Vermont-based filmmakers. Victor has been involved in film and video production for over 25 years, including regional Emmy award-winning series for PBS, and is President of the non-profit Bright Blue Media. Brad is a ten-time regional Emmy award-winning editor with over 15 years of post-production experience in documentary film, national episodic television, and multimedia work with Boston’s Panache Editorial.
